Have you reached your breaking point?  We’ve listened to your requests and delivered exactly what you’ve been looking for.  We’ve just introduced Synchronized Breaks at our Multi-Table Tournaments.  Now you can enjoy a 5-minute break at the 55th minute of every hour.  That’s right, whether you need to collect your thoughts, relieve yourself, or fix yourself a snack, you’ll be able to break away on a schedule you can count on.

Synchronized breaks for multi-table tournaments begin at the 55th minute of every hour with some exceptions. For example, if a tourney begins at 8:30 and has the Synchronized Breaks feature enabled, the tournament will go on break at 8:55, but all hands will be completed before the break starts. After all hands are completed, all players will be given a 5-minute break. Once the 5-minute break is over, the tournament will begin. Since breaks may not always begin exactly at the 55th minute, as current hands need to be played to completion first, some tournaments might resume before others.

You won’t find Synchronized Breaks in tourneys that are still open for late registration, in tourneys that are still within the first blind level, in Turbo and Ultra Turbo Tournaments within the first two blind levels, or in Multi-Table SnGs right now.  There will be a 3-minute break when the re-buy period has ended to allow for add-ons in re-buy tourneys.

If you play in multiple tourneys that have synchronized breaks, you’ll be able to take a single break for all tourneys.  Keep in mind that not all tournaments offer synchronized break. You can check in the lobby to see if your favorite tourney supports this feature.
